POLEPOX-AQUA UV 1K

Accrylic-based, one-component liquid plastic coating and elastic waterproofing material. It forms a seamless, elastic layer upon drying.

PLACES OF USE

  • Beveled surfaces coated with concrete, plaster, cement board, galvanized, zinc, aluminum, PVC, polyester, and wood.
  • Insulation of roofs and terraces.
  • Waterproofing of exterior facades of buildings.
  • Insulation of details such as cracks, eaves, and chimney bottoms.

ADVANTAGES AND FEATURES

  • Ready for use; easily applied with a brush or roller.
  • Low labor cost.
  • 500% elastic.
  • Effective water vapor permeability.
  • High resistance to UV rays.
  • Maintains flexibility at low temperatures.
  • Can be painted over.

APPLICATION DETAILS

Surface Preparation: Cement-based surfaces must be firm, dry, load-bearing, dust-free, and clean. The surface should be thoroughly cleaned of all oils, greases, rust, and paraffin residues that weaken adherence; no loose particles should remain.

Application:

  • Mix: POLEPOX-AQUA UV 1K is a single component and does not require mixing.
  • Application of Primer: Applied using a brush, roller, or suitable spraying machine in the amounts specified in the consumption table.
  • Conditions: If ambient and surface temperatures are below +5°C or above +30°C, appropriate temperatures should be awaited.
  • Protection: For exterior applications, protect the surface from sun, wind, frost, or rain for the first 24 hours. Do not apply during rain or if rain is expected.
  • Reaction Times: Reaction slows at low temperatures, prolonging working time. High temperatures accelerate the reaction. Temperatures should not fall below the minimum allowable limit for proper curing.

Cleaning Tools: Tools and equipment should be cleaned with soapy warm water after use. Hardened material can be mechanically removed with an appropriate solvent.
