POLEPOX-PU SL 280
Two-component, solvent-free, colored floor covering material based on polyester polyurethane resin. It is used as a self-leveling multi-layer or thin-layer flexible floor covering.
Place of Use
- As a 1-3 mm self-leveling coating on sports fields.
- In places such as exhibition halls and offices exposed to light pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
- In hospitals, polyclinics, laboratories, playgrounds, kindergartens, poultry farms, slaughterhouses, and industrial kitchens where hygienic conditions are critical.

Application Information
Preparation of the Mixture: The product is two-component and should be prepared in the specified mixing ratio based on the amount to be consumed, considering the pot life. Ensure the product temperature is at least 15°C for a homogeneous mix. Mix Component A quickly with a mechanical mixer, then add the hardener (Component B) while respecting the ratio. Components A and B should be mixed for at least 3 minutes until homogeneous and rested for 5-10 minutes before application. Consume the prepared mixture during its lifetime.
Application to the Surface: Apply the mixture with a notched trowel or a comb to obtain the desired dry film thickness. The application time for a new coat is at least 24 hours at 20°C and up to 5 days. It is critical that the second coat is applied within this period. Air bubbles should be removed with a hedgehog roller after the fresh coating is spread. (This is especially important for applications above 1 kg/m2 or 700 microns.) Full mechanical and chemical resistance is reached in about 7 days.
Material Consumption: 1.4 - 1.5 kg of POLEPOX-PU SL 280 is required to create a 1.0 mm thick coating per 1 m2.
Cleaning of Tools: Use Cellulosic or Polyurethane thinner.
Packaging and Storage
- Packaging: 24 kg set (Component A: 20 kg bucket, Component B: 4 kg gallon).
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Shelf life is 1 year in unopened original packaging when stored correctly.
