POLEPOX-CA 3000 PVA
POLEPOX-CA 3000 PVA is a high-performance PVA-based product designed for use as a surface sealer, bonding agent, and admixture for cement and mortar.
FEATURES
- Bonds effectively to most common construction materials, excluding PVC, rubber, and similar products.
- Highly versatile product that enhances adhesion and increases overall strength.
- Provides a plasticizing effect that improves mortar application and increases mechanical strength of renders and screeds.
- Reduces shrinkage and ensures perfect adhesion even on smooth concrete surfaces.
APPLICATION AREAS
- Provides enhanced bond strength to mortars, specifically topping mortars.
- Improves the wear resistance of screeds compared to conventional sand and cement mixtures.
- Resulting surfaces are dust-free and resistant to water, oil, and grease.
- When used with suitable fillers, it is ideal for fixing plasterboard, ceramic tiles, and marbles.
- Functions as a surface sealer for concrete floors to minimize dusting and oil penetration.
- Serves as an effective primer for various decorative coatings.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be sound and free from all contaminants such as oil, grease, and paint.
- Bonding Paste: Create a paste by diluting POLEPOX-CA 3000 PVA with equal parts of water, cement, and fine sand. This can be used as an adhesive for fixing plasterboards or polystyrene tiles to walls and ceilings.
- Priming: For highly porous surfaces, apply a primer coat mixed at a 1:3 ratio (PVA to water).
- Application: Apply the bonding coat followed by the normal application of render, screed, or plaster. Use the same method for bonding new concrete to old concrete.
- Heavy Renderings: Prepare a render coat using 1 part cement, 1 part sand, and 1 part product to 3 parts water. Apply to the tacky prime coat at a recommended dosage of 10-15 L per 100 kg of cement.
SAFETY AND STORAGE
- Stir the contents thoroughly before use.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. In tropical climates, air-conditioned storage is recommended.
- Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles. In case of splashes to skin or eyes, rinse immediately with fresh water. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting and seek medical assistance immediately.
