POLEPOX-CA 800
Naphthalene sulphonate based, super plasticizer, liquid additive material that reduces the mixing water and increases the fluidity of gypsum and cement based materials. It conforms to the specifications given in TS EN 934-2 Tables 3.1 and 3.2.
AREAS OF USAGE
- Houses, shopping malls, and hospitals,
- In engineering structures such as subways, highways, tunnels, and dams,
- For places where early mold removal is required,
- In order not to leave gaps in frequently reinforced concrete,
- To reduce water permeability in foundation concrete,
- To ensure easy spreading on floor screeds.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- It increases the workability of the mixture and prevents the formation of gaps.
- It reduces the amount of water in the mixture, thus increasing its strength and durability.
- It is used in products that give high strength at low temperatures.
- It provides slipperiness into screed, plaster, and concrete to increase fluidity.
- It enables concrete casting in cold climatic conditions.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Surface Preparation: Ambient temperature between +5°C and +35°C is preferred in areas where screed or concrete is to be cast.
- POLEPOX-CA 800 is mixed into the concrete mixture water at a rate of 0.5-2% of the binder weight.
- After a homogenous mixture is obtained, it is placed into the concrete mold.
APPLICATION NOTES / RESTRICTIONS
- During application, work clothes suitable for occupational health and safety rules should be worn.
- Use of CEM I cement is recommended to obtain early high strength.
- For casting in temperatures below +5°C, measures recommended in the standards must be taken, including frost protection.
- Mixing water of plaster, screed, or concrete should be reduced by approximately 10%.
- Pretesting the concrete before casting is recommended.
- Using additives beyond the specified consumption will prolong the hardening time.
- At temperatures below +5°C, noon hours are best; take advance precautions against frost, rain, and dew.
- At temperatures above +35°C, cool morning/evening hours are best; wet the mold and use rested cement to reduce hydration heat.
- Protect from adverse weather (direct sunlight, rain, frost) after application.
- Clean hands with water and detergent before the mortar fully cures.
