POLEPOX-PU UV 700 1K

One-component, polyurethane, liquid waterproofing membrane designed for flat roofs. Based on pure, elastomeric, hydrophobic polyurethane resins, it offers excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal, UV, and weather resistance properties. It creates a continuous, elastic, waterproof, and vapor-permeable membrane without seams or joints.

Fields of Application

  • Exposed waterproofing membrane for flat roofs and balconies.
  • Under tile layers in kitchens, bathrooms, and roofs (requires quartz sand broadcast on the last layer).
  • Under thermal insulation boards on flat roofs.
  • Construction works such as highways, bridge decks, and tunnels.
  • Foundations.
  • Gypsum and cement boards.
  • Old layers of bituminous membranes.
  • Polyurethane foam and metal surfaces.

Features & Benefits

  • Excellent bonding to various substrates including concrete, mortars, and wood.
  • Applicable even to irregular substrates.
  • Suitable for green roofs and flower beds.
  • Available in white, grey, and other colors. Dark colors used as exposed layers must be covered with POLEPOX-PU TP 610 of the same color.

Application Procedure

Substrate Preparation: Substrate must be dry (moisture < 4%), clean, and free of loose particles. Cavities should be filled with repair materials. Severe cracks should be primed and sealed with PU sealants. Porous surfaces should be treated with POLEPOX-PU PRIMER 100 at 200 g/m2.

Application: Stir slightly until homogeneous, avoiding excessive stirring to prevent air entrapment. Apply in two layers by brush or roller. The first layer is applied 2-3 hours after priming while the primer is still tacky. The second layer should be applied crosswise after 8-24 hours.

Consumption: Approx. 1.5 - 1.70 kg/m2 depending on the substrate.

Packing & Storage

  • Packing: 25 kg metal containers.
  • Shelf Life: 12 months from production date in unopened packaging at +5°C to +35°C. Protect from sunlight and frost.
