POLEPOX-PU WP 2K
Two-component, solvent-free, thixotropic coating based on high-quality elastomeric polyurethane resins, improved for drinking water storage tanks. After polymerization, it produces a strong, elastic, hydrophobic membrane suitable for waterproofing and protection. It is recommended and certified for use in potable water tanks.

Application Procedure
Surface Preparation: Clean the surface using jet water if possible. Remove oil, grease, and wax contaminants. Cement laitance, loose particles, and old membranes must be removed. Fill surface irregularities with the necessary product.
Mixing: Mix the two components using a low-speed (300 rpm) mixer.
Application: Apply with roller in two coats with consumption of 700 gr/m² per coat. On the tank floor, a single coat of 1400 gr/m² is sufficient. Pot life is 30 min at 20°C. It can be increased by keeping the mix in a cooler place or using wide, shallow containers.
