POLEPOX-POOL PAINT 2K
POLEPOX-POOL PAINT 2K is a specially formulated pool paint designed to provide pool surfaces with a long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing appearance. It consists of a two-component polyurethane resin that provides high resistance to water and abrasion. The mixture of components A and B offers rapid curing, allowing for quick application. Because the prepared mixture requires rapid application, it is provided in small packaging sets.
RECOMMENDED USE
- Pools, water tanks, and water reservoirs.
- Ornamental pools and ponds.
- Water channels, dams, and similar structures.
ADVANTAGES
- Fully resistant to external environmental conditions.
- Unaffected by UV rays.
- Protects surfaces from water, rain, and sunlight, preventing wear.
- Can be used to waterproof all types of horizontal and vertical surfaces.
- Creates a smooth layer, covering connection points, cracks, and floor faults.
- Ideal for terraces, balconies, and wet floors.
- Easy to clean, dries quickly, and does not dust off.
- Long service life; maintains elasticity and color stability.
- High scratch and abrasion resistance.
- Semi-elastic characteristics.
- High chemical and wear resistance.
- Bacteria-free and anti-dusting.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Surface Preparation:
- Surfaces should be clean and free of any defects.
- Pay attention to the application timing of the previous primer or base coat.
Strength:
- Resists mechanical effects from medium to high loads.
- Thermally resistant up to $+80^{\circ}C$ in humid conditions and up to $+120^{\circ}C$ in dry conditions.
Application Conditions:
- Maximum relative air humidity: 75%.
- Ambient and surface temperature: $+5-30^{\circ}C$.
- Outdoor applications: No rain 48 hours before, during, or 48 hours after application.
- Surface temperature must be $3^{\circ}C$ above the current dew point.
Mixing Procedure:
- This is a two-component product; prepare only the quantity needed based on the pot life.
- Ensure product temperature is at least $15^{\circ}C$ for a homogeneous mixture.
- Stir Component A quickly with a mechanical mixer, then add Component B following the specified mix ratio.
- Mix for a minimum of 3 minutes until homogeneous.
- Consume the mixture within its specified pot life.
Surface Application:
- Apply using a roller or airless spray.
- Control dry film thickness using a wet film comb during application.
- Wait time between coats: Minimum 24 hours ($20^{\circ}C$), maximum 5 days.
- It is critical to apply the second coat within this specified over-coating window.
- Full mechanical and chemical strength is reached in approximately 7 days.
- Clean tools using cellulosic or polyurethane thinner.
